Suicide Prevention Training

ARNPs United Board Member and AANP Region X  Director Tracy Klein shared the following link to a Suicide Prevention Training Program that  fulfils the current Washington State requirement. After July 1, 2017 you must complete 6 hours of a state approved Suicide Prevention Training within your next licensing cycle. 

This program, accredited by the California Board of Nursing, provides suicide assessment and management and fulfills the requirement if completed before July 1, 2017. Read the pdf and  content containing DOD/VA guidelines to see if t meets your needs. The cost is $18.00, paid only when you take the exam.
