SHB 2264 is unanimously approved by the Washington State House of Representatives

Our legislation made it through the Washington State House of Representatives and now needs Senate approval. Thanks to all of you who called your representative and Speaker Chopp's office. Now reach out to your Senator and ask for their support for SHB2264/SB6067.

SHB 2264 which requires hospitals to request certain information from any advanced registered nurse practitioner or physician assistant prior to granting or renewing clinical privileges or association with the hospital. This bill is a technical fix to assure ARNPs and PAs are credentialed using the same process as is used for physicians.
