The purposes of this study are to identify characteristics of the Washington State ARNP workforce and evaluate the impact of third party reimbursement on Washington State ARNP practice owners and independent contractors.  The information collected will be used for policy and legislative initiativesincluding work force planningand obtaining support for a bill to require the same pay for ARNPs as physicians receive when billing for the same service.
