Participate in the Nursing Now USA launch on Tuesday, April 9th in Washington DC from 2 pm – 4 pm eastern time at the National Press Club.
And, if you can’t attend the festivities in person, we are live-streaming the launch program. It will stream live beginning at 2 pm east coast time and will conclude at approximately 3 pm east coast time. Some organizations are setting up watch parties to bring together fellow nurses and colleagues in the health care profession.
The UW School of Nursing has partnered with the American Nursing Association, the U.S. Public Health Service Chief Nurse of the United States, and the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill School of Nursing to organize this effort to raise nursing to its rightful place of equal authority and responsibility in leading America to health. Come celebrate this global initiative that is supported by more than 70 countries from around the world and learn how you can help bring visibility to our profession.
I encourage you to attend the event in person, but, if that is not possible the event can be watched on: https://www.facebook.com/NursingNow2020
