ARNP Hospital Privileging Bill Passes the Legislature!!

We are pleased to announce the passage of House Bill 1432 concerning hospital privileges for advanced registered nurse practitioners and physician assistants.  Here is a link to the bill https://app.leg.wa.gov/billsummary?BillNumber=1432&Year=2019&Initiative=false .  Both the House of Representatives and the Senate passed the bill unanimously.  The bill now goes to the goveror for his signature. It becomes effective 90 days after the bill is signed. Special thanks to our lobbyist, Devon Connor-Green, for his efforts to get the bill passed.  Once session ends April 28, we will be working with legislators and will build a coalition to bring HB 1433 requiring ARNP payment parity forward for a hearing and vote in the 2020 legislative session.  Maintain your memberhsip in ARPNs United or join now and support our efforts to have ARNPs paid by private health plans the same as physicians when providing the same service.
