Kathleen Johnson, MSN, FNP, PMHS is dual board certified as a Pediatric Primary Care Mental Health Specialist (PMHS) and has additional certifications with autism assessment and neurodevelopmental disorders. She is the Nurse Practitioner for Yellow Brick Clinic: Integrative ADHD, Autism, Developmental and Behavioral Health (www.yellowbrickclinic.com ) Additionally, Kat is completing a DNP with Gonzaga University; this Pilot Educational Program is part of a DNP Scholarly Project designed to help increase accessibility for early and ongoing care for children and youth with autism and behavioral health challenge. By increasing PCP’s familiarity and level of comfort with recognizing and evaluating these disorders and apply new tools into practice, we can decrease the disparity experienced by this vulnerable (and amazing!) population.
