COVID-19 Response Volunteers Needed

Do you know someone who wants to help with the COVID response?

There is an urgent need for professionally licensed volunteers to support the current COVID-19 response. Currently, our greatest areas of need are nursing professions – Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, etc. Additionally, we need doctors, physician assistants, pharmacists and other medical professions.

Those interested may register as an Emergency Volunteer Health Practitioner in the Washington State Emergency Registry of Volunteers (WAserv) at WAserv.org.

WAserv is a statewide registry of volunteers who stand ready to respond during public health emergencies. Once registered in WAserv, the Department of Health contacts volunteers with information on how they can help. Volunteers might be asked to assist local facilities with vaccinations, care for COVID-19 patients, or support medical staff in other ways, depending on their expertise.

For more information about WAserv, visit our page or check out the WAserv fact sheet. For questions, please email: waserv@doh.wa.gov.
