We are valued experts on health care issues but are inexperienced in leveraging that expertise towards legislative action. With the guidance of ARNPs United and Washington Association Nurse Anesthetists Board Member Ashley Fedan, participants will learn that meeting with your legislator can be a walk in the park.

Describe how to introduce oneself and ones organization to district and state representatives.

Describe how to advocate for current legislation.

Describe how to follow up on initial contacts and maintain those relationships
