We Need Your Help to Pass Senate Bill 5704

We need you to help pass SB 5704.  The bill requires health carriers to reimburse ARNPs at the same rate as physicians for the same service.  The bill will have a public hearing in the Senate on Monday, January 17 between 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm.  You can help advance the bill by following these steps to sign in support.  The more ARNPS who do this, the more members of the committee will be likely to subsequently pass the bill out of committee for further consideration.  Here is the process.

1. Access the Committee Sign In home page with this link https://app.leg.wa.gov/csi
2. Select Senate
3. Select Health & Long Term Care for the committee and 01/17/22 1:30 pm for the meeting
4. Select SB 5704 reimbursement rate
5. Select: I would like my position to be noted for the legislative record
6. On the next page you will Have Pro as your position and complete the required information. Do not enter an organization unless you are officially representing an organization.
7. You will select I’m not a robot and the click submit registration.

You have the option in step 5 to select I would like to submit written testimony.  You will supply the same information as in step 6 with the addition of written testimony.
