Help endorse the creation of a small provider-focused COHE!
Posted
Existing COHEs are based in specific, often medium to large, healthcare systems and have historically enrolled claim initiating providers predominately.
By supporting a new model of COHE, focused on solo and small clinic providers, we can improve accessibility for our members!
The first step is to gather information about potential participating providers.
- A COHE, or Center for Occupational Health and Education, is a partnership between healthcare organizations and the Department of Labor & Industries to provide occupational health best practice support to COHE-enrolled providers that treat workers compensation patients.
- Examples of this free support include health services coordination, provider education, employer engagement and return to work support for patients who were injured on the job. You AND your patients would have someone to turn to for help navigating complex and often frustrating workers compensation processes.
- Please fill out the survey below to help us in this endeavor. It should take about two minutes to complete and needs to be completed no later than January 31, 2022 by CLICKING HERE.
