Washington State Nurse Preceptor Grant Program Has Launched

The Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission (NCQAC) announces the launch of the Washington State Nurse Preceptor Grant Program (WSNGP) in Fall 2022.  The 2022 Washington State Legislature provided funding to incentivize nurses who volunteer to precept nursing students at practice sites approved by educational programs.  This will be monetary compensation, in the amount of $725 each grant cycle in which an eligible preceptor participates. The incentive will be paid directly to LPNs, RNs, and ARNPs who precept nursing students and meet eligibility requirements.
