Posted over 2 years ago by Louise Kaplan

In recognition of her excellence in clinical practice, Linda van Hoff is being honored by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners® (AANP) as the 2023 recipient of the AANP State Award for Excellence in Washington. Each year, nurse practitioners (NPs) across the nation are nominated by their colleagues to receive this prestigious award. Van Hoff, who specializes in primary care, is a Family Nurse Practitioner at Overlake Clinics in Redmond, Washington.
In addition to providing outstanding primary care to her patients, Linda precepts students and has taken on leadership assignments within her employing institution, her state ARNP organization, and the broader state Health Care Authority. Linda is a model of an ARNP clinician and leader and well deserving of the state NP award for excellence.

In recognition of his contribution as an advocate on behalf of nurse practitioners (NPs) and their patients, Devon Connor-Green, JD, is being honored by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners® (AANP) as the 2023 recipient of the AANP Advocate State Award for Excellence in Washington state. Each year, advocates across the nation are nominated by AANP members to receive this prestigious award. Connor-Green is the contract lobbyist for ARNPs United of Washington State.

Since 2019, Devon has worked tirelessly for passage of reimbursement parity legislation. He is a tenacious advocate who is able to articulate the contributions NPs make to the health of the people of the state and why reimbursement parity should be an essential tenet of the health care system.  He is highly regarded by legislators on both sides of the aisle as well as by other lobbyists. He is most deserving of this award.
