NURSESW4All Study
Posted 12 months ago by Nancy Lawton
Recently you were sent an email to participate in the Nurses4All Study, the largest study of nurses’ working conditions. This effort, funded by the National Institutes of Health, is a collaboration between the University of Pennsylvania, the National Council of State Boards of Nursing, the Washington Center for Nursing, and the Washington State Board of Nursing. Your participation will provide the evidence to drive the practice and policy reforms that are needed to improve working conditions for all nurses and patients.
For Washington participants, there are additional questions in the survey and an opportunity to develop statewide nurse burnout and retention strategies in collaboration with the Washington Center for Nursing and the Washington State Board of Nursing.
Each email was individualized, so I cannot include the link to your survey in this announcement, however I encourage you to search your in-box or junk folder and respond with your thoughts on staffing, scheduling, burnout and how to improve your workplace.
Please take 15 minutes to share your experience. You will have the option to receive a personalized Certificate of Participation in Research.
Who We Are: The Center for Health Outcomes and Policy Research at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing has produced impactful evidence demonstrating the importance of adequate staffing and a good work environment for nurses’ well-being, quality of care, patient safety, good patient outcomes, and health equity in all settings where nurses work. The results of this research are used to inform and implement policy and organizational practices that support nurses in their work and value the contributions of nurses for patients, families, and communities.
