In addition to the Governor appointed position, the BON is seeking ARNP pro tem members who are appointed by the executive director. Pro tem members do not have the full authority or responsibilities of the governor appointed board members instead being appointed for a shorter period of time and for specific roles. The board is looking for ARNPs in a variety of roles and specialties such as primary care and acute care hospitalists NPs, CRNA and CNS. Applicants should have the capacity to participate in subcommittee work (discipline, ARNP practice, and/or research, education if appropriate) and a passion for policy/change.  If you are interested in serving as a pro tem member, contact Dr. Alison Bradywood at alison.bradywood@doh.wa.gov.
