Infertility: What Can The Primary Care Provider Offer?

Anne has worked at Seattle Reproductive Medicine since 2007 and has both a personal and professional connection to the field of reproductive medicine. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology from Stanford University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Washington, where she completed an honors research project on paternal infant attachment. Passionate about women’s health, Anne initially worked as a labor and delivery nurse, until her personal experiences with infertility inspired her to make a career change into reproductive medicine. Anne returned to school at Frontier Nursing University, becoming a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She completed her Master’s and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees in 2016/2017. Her professional interests include the psychological components of infertility (which inspired her to develop SRM’s Peer Support Group program), male factor infertility, and lifestyle interventions to support preconception health (the focus of her doctoral project). Anne also supports outreach efforts to increase community awareness of fertility assessment and fertility preservation. She has been an invited speaker at the American Society for Reproductive Medicine annual meeting, as well as local fertility conferences. She was recognized in 2018, 2020, 2021 & 2022 as one of Seattle Metropolitan Magazine Top Doctors as an ARNP. In Anne’s spare time she enjoys running and has competed in many marathons. She also spends time with her two wonderful children and is grateful every day for the infertility treatments that allowed her to become a mother. Infertility is a journey no one wants to go on, but Anne believes that support and education is what allows patients to emerge resilient.
