Overview

Let's face it, EKG interpretation can be intimidating. Understanding what a P wave, QRS complex, and T wave represent, measuring intervals, and proper lead identification in conjunction with cardiac anatomy are important to understand to achieve EKG mastery. Anatomy of an EKG will build confidence in your EKG interpretation skills by focusing on foundational EKG principles and demonstrating where to look, when to look, and what to look for in a systematic, nine-step approach. Theapplication of this system will empower you to confidently identify a normal EKG, which subsequently makes identifying abnormal characteristics easier for further patient investigation and workup.
