Overview
Nicole will review what Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGMs) are, when to use them, the information they provide as a tool and as a treatment, and the barriers to their use. Then Nicole will discuss insulin pumps, the available models, how they work and whoshould use them.

Glycemic Control Nurse Practitioner
Nicole Woodruff is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and certified diabetes care and education specialists. She has been a practicing since 2004. The majority of her time has been outpatient in a diabetes specialty setting. In late 2023 she moved into a different role, now working inpatient as the glycemic control consult service to Hospitalists and a clinical nurse specialist for the nursing staff.
